THIS WILL BE A BUSY WEEK! There is a lot going on so please reach out if you have any questions!

Reading: We are continuing to learn about informational text. The kiddos are LOVING learning about new things and answering questions about how the text is organized, as well as the author’s purpose for writing the text (3.9, 3.10). We are continuing to practice vocabulary and how to use new vocabulary, as well as in context (3.3ABC).

Writing/ LA: We will continue to work on prefix, root (base) word and how the word changes when a prefix is added (3.3D). We will also continue to work on writing non-fiction/ expository text, remembering the intended audience. (3.11ABCDE, 3.12, 3.20)

Social Studies: We will investigate the 3 branches of government, checks and balances and state/ local government. (3.4, 3.5)
